The Farmhouse Brand created for Wyevale Gardens Centres expressed the companies increasing investment in a good quality and value for money menu served in a traditional rustic restaurant environment.

Having been involved in and completed various refurbishment projects for Wyevale across the country, the Worlds End Garden Centre at Aylesbury was to be the first of the purpose built outlets designed with a children’s play area and out doors seating.

The restaurant was situated within a new steel building and therefore elements such as lighting and air conditioning were proposed to be functional and on show to the customers as fitting the modern construction.

The Farmhouse Scheme being a rustic oak was kept to the servery counter, flooring and furniture. The combination of a crisp clean and modern building with a rustic interior worked well, and gave the customer that familiar branded restaurant in a comfortable welcoming new environment.

Having created the optimum layout for the building it meant that the a new professional kitchen was positioned to one side making sense for the new counter be set in front of the kitchen for ease of access. The new oak counter became an impressive element of the interior space with customer seating set in front. To the other side of the building a children’s play area and a toilet block were created to enhance customer flow through the restaurant.
